Once they remember, all they do is just inform some of them hoping the news will get viral. Among friends, it does. But your utility company will not inform your bank about your relocation. So here is a list of people you need to inform before leaving the old abode. Make plans early and start contacting them a week before man brings his van to your central London home.

List of people/ individuals

  1. Family and friends
  2. Mobile phone service providing companies
  3. Your utility companies
  4. Banks and credit card providers
  5. Children’s teachers and school
  6. Social clubs or any local organization you are part of.
  7. Magazine and other subscriptions you have availed.
  8. Store card providers
  9. Flyer cards providers you don’t miss out on.
  10. Your employer, colleagues and organizational authorities.
  11. Companies providing house securities.
  12. Taxation authorities.
  13. Your local authorities.
  14. Car, home and other insurance providers.
  15. Town or other libraries.

The personal contacts are to be informed a week before so you can meet them personally and bid them farewell in case you are going long distance.

Professionals and collective authorities are to be informed in case a need to contact you arises. Such authorities must also be informed a week prior so you can be contacted at the right place according to the date specified.
